Welcome to my new website. For further information please see the music page.
I was brought up on wide a variety of music from an early age and I came of age around the Madchester explosion at the end of the eighties. Soon after I developed an interest in house music, it was then I started to DJ. After winning Muzik Magazine's Bedroom Bedlam competition in 1997 I went on to DJ and promote my own nights in bars in Glasgow and Edinburgh as well as spining at many clubs across the UK.
Whilst working as a DJ I decided to study Music and Audio technology and gained an HND from James Watt College in Greenock. It was at this point that I started putting together my own small studio. I then went onto to gain a BSC in Multimedia Technology from Glasgow Caledonion University. After a short spell working in post production at Videolondon Sound Studios, London I returned to my beloved Glasgow and finally got a "real job" as a Web Developer.
I now run run my own web design and development company Pixeljunk Design as well as teaching Apple Logic Pro, Adobe Web Software and various Web Technologies (XHTML, HTML, CSS) on a freelance basis.
I also produce royalty free audio clips and short musical compositions for use in TV and film, new media and the web and other advertising and marketing streams.
Other loves includes skiing, mountains, climbing, Ibiza, cool beaches, travelling, clubbing, fashion, photography and digital art....
